ABOUT CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered and founded Christian Science, defined Christian Science as “the law of God, the law of good . . . ” (Rudimental Divine Science, p. 1). She’d learned that God is infinite Love, and completely good. A clear glimpse of this through prayer has power to heal and transform anyone.

Mary Baker Eddy was a lifelong student of the Bible and she’d always wanted to find solutions to human suffering. When she was critically injured in 1866, she turned to God with her whole heart. While reading accounts of Jesus’ swift, powerful healings, she experienced a new sense of God. She saw that God, Spirit, is the only reality and she was completely healed. She wanted to understand what happened, so she studied the Bible and found universal and dependable laws of God. These laws are the foundation of Christian Science.

Since then many people have been healed and redeemed as they learn about their relationship to God through this reliable Science of Christianity.

About the Bible Lesson
The Bible is at the heart of Christian Science practice. Christians all over the world have felt the strengthening benefits of scriptural study and searching the Bible for the spiritual truths it contains. Christian Scientists have found a key component of that study are the weekly Bible Lessons published in the Christian Science Quarterly.
These Bible Lessons consist of correlated passages from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science. Together the Bible and Science and Health are the Pastor of the Christian Science Church. Beyond the comfort that often comes with Bible study, the lessons are intended to be instructive. The issues that people confront every day — at both an individual level and at a community level — can be addressed and healed by the laws of God illustrated in the Bible.
At the end of the week in which a lesson is studied, it is read as the Sunday sermon in Christian Science churches and societies worldwide. Listening to the lesson with understanding and inspiration rooted in the week’s in-depth study and application of the ideas presented in the lesson creates a healing atmosphere that embraces and benefits everyone present, as well as the community. The lesson is also a prominent fixture in Christian Science Sunday Schools, where young people learn how to apply spiritual laws in their own lives.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE READING ROOM
Q: What is a Christian Science Reading Room?
A: It’s a place where lives can be changed. Similar to a library or bookstore, a Reading Room offers a place to read, pray, and get inspired. It’s a space where many have been healed by studying the lessons of the Bible and nurturing a connection with God.
Sunday School and child care
We love Children! Our Sunday School welcomes all children to the age of 20. There, children and young people discover the Bible and the power of prayer.
Sunday School is at the same hour as the church service. For those too young for Sunday School we have a children's room where infants and small children will be loved and well cared for.
